Beware 3 Things for Facial Cleansers

If your skin is regularly subject to acne, then you’ll know how hard it is to find a good face cleanser that soothes the skin while also repairing and healing acne skin from the bacteria that is the cause of acne.

Regardless of your age, you can get pimples or acne. I’m currently in my mid-late twenties and I still get the occasional outbreak of acne, especially when I find myself too busy and forget my skin care regimen or when my diet isn’t healthy.

The first step to prevent acne would be to change your lifestyle to include a healthy and balanced diet, exercise and sleep. But let’s move onto finding the perfect facial skin cleanser. How to Choose a Facial Cleanser Fit for You

First thing is to ignore the marketing of a product. Fancy colors, packaging, claims and organic labels without the approved USDA logo are all marketing claims to hype up a product. There are certain words and phrases that companies will use to try and make a claim yet be excused of its responsibility under the FDA guidelines. e.g. anything that has the words “helps” or even “may” won’t do what it claims to do. Avoid sodium laureth sulfate. Most products will contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is a big irritant your skin because it is a chemical to form soap suds and bubbles. We are so used to having foamy lathers in our products that we believe a good product should produce more bubbles. Not true. This is simply a myth. Foam does not equal good cleansing. Avoid products with dyes or colors. One of the main reasons many products don’t pass the FDA tests is because it contains dyes or colorants. This is a big no no if your skin is sensitive and especially more so for acne skin. On the ingredient list, if it says anything about “red..”, “yellow..” then skip it. It is more likely to cause more irritation.

The Best Face Cleanser that Works For You

When looking for a cleanser, be sure to ignore the hype and marketing of a product. Just because you saw it on TV with some beautiful models does not mean it will produce the same results.

Learning to read the ingredient list and becoming familiar with what is good and bad is a good start to empowering yourself to make smarter choices. You can find a list of the best and worst ingredients for exfoliators to find out how to go about learning. The Best Way for Clean and Clear Skin

Spa Vacations: Important Things You Need to Do Before You Go

The popularity of spa vacations has grown over the years amongst upper and middle class Americans. More and more men and women are learning the wonderful health benefits of taking such vacations. You might be wondering what benefits?

Spa treatments are such a stress reliever.

Imagine shaking that cranky feeling and actually rejuvenating yourself with a relaxing time out from work. Not only that but this relax time will revitalize your energy level. Spending too much time working can definitely impact your health and deplete your energy and spirit.

It’s best to take a spa vacations to boost your life batteries to full.

What to bring on your spa vacation

Create a shopping list of things to bring on your spa vacation. You might think that you’ll be able to get your items there at the resort shops and you certainly can…. but for double the price. So be sure to double check your list and buy your items before leaving on vacation.

Remember, certain items like dental floss, sanitary pads and other personal necessities will be double the price, not only that, they might not have your favorite brand. If you need to buy some things at the resort or spa shop just be sure they are specialized items that can only be purchased there.

What NOT to bring on your spa vacation

Listen, you are about to go on a relaxing vacation…so there is only one rule and that is to leave work at work. Stuff like laptop computers and cell phones are work things, this is part of rule number one. Of course the cell should be used in case of family emergencies otherwise don’t use it. Any calls or emails can be taken care of when you get back to work. Have your assistant take care of those matters, that’s why you have an assistant, right?

Remember the goal here is that you are going on vacation to relax and get rejuvenated. You are legitimately taking time to get away from the rat race leaving your boss and clients behind while you enjoy your vacation. You’ve spent too much of your valuable time taking care of those people, you need just enough time to get recharged so let them wait…you deserve this!

This is your vacation and it’s going to be not just any vacation but a healthy energizing spa vacation. Bring that great book that you’ve been wanting to read or bring your favorite camera to do some relaxing photography that you’ve been yearning to do…it’s your time; time to relax and enjoy the wonderful benefits of your spa vacations.
