Electric cars’ silence ‘fixed’ by noise from speaker
The electric car is not going to be a silent car. Faced with the possibility that pedestrians might not hear its engine-less Leaf hatchback, Nissan said Friday it will put a speaker in the engine compartment connected to a synthesizer on the dashboard.
